Robert Hunter (DEZ) Robert Hunter, a Cleveland native, is an actor who has projects in both theatre and film. His regional credits include, Dobama productions of “Superior Donuts”, “Belleville”, and “Marie Antoinette.” Karamu House “Day of Absence,” and “Leap of Faith.” Ensemble Theatre’s “Angels in America.” Hunter’s film credits are The Land, Banger, and Criminal Activities starring John Travolta. He happily serves as an actor educator for inner city youth. And has recently starred in the US Premiere play “The Ballerina” that was performed at the TheatreLab in Manhattan NY. Hunter made history as the youngest recipient of the Star Project Award at the American Black Film Festival. He’s happy to be home here at Dobama where it feels most natural. XO
